Salt Marsh Photographic Cruises offers several different cruises, one is sure to be just what you were looking for.
The Gilbert Creek Cruise (about 2 ½ hrs).
This cruise takes you around Pinckney Island and into Gil;bert Creek. Pinckney Island and Gilbert Creek are Wildlife Refuges, wildlife commonly observed include waterfowl, shorebirds, wading birds, raptors[including American Bald Eagles] , white-tailed deer and American alligators, with large concentrations of white ibis, herons, and egrets.
The Coulter Creek Cruise (about 3 1/2 hrs).
This cruise includes Gil;bert Creek as well as Coulter Creek. After cruising through Gilbert Creek we will venture up the May river and into Bull Creek. From Bull Creek we go into Coulter Creek which winds along Palmetto bluff as we circle back into the other end of Bull Creek on our way back home. This loop takes us along Daufuskie island.
The Doughboy Loop Cruise (about 4 1/2 hrs).
The Doughboy Cruise includes both the Gilbert Creek Cruise and the Coulter Creek Cruise, but also travels deeper into the inlets, tidal streams and creeks. You'll get up close to hidden areas that you just can't get to via land. On rare occasions we have spotted wild boar on the more remote islands.
